Is Howrah Safe during Night time? I Am planning to take this train from Mumbai to Howrah and since this train Arrives Howrah after Midnight and I will be travelling with Family.
Also I have to go to Dum Dum from Howrah, what about transportation from Howrah to Dumdum during that time?

Sir, Howrah is quite busy even at 1AM.
There is continuous vigilance of RPF.
Donot worry, HWH is quite safe although be vigilant

Howrah is so crowded and busy throughout the night and so is far from anything unsafe. Infact, there is something to enjoy in this station at night, it is just fascinating. I once got down from the Gnaeshwari Express (Mumbai-Howrah) around 4:30 am so saying out of experience.
The pre-booked taxi service also available and will easily drop you to Dum Dum. Expect a long queue for taxi booking even at the dead of night or early morning hours!

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...
