Ye dekhiye freight income ki halat aur phir boliye ki kya galat kar diya hai Current RM ne..2012-13 se compare kariyega to pata chalega ko RM ko badalna bhi zaruri hai.

To humne kab bola ki ye Rail Mantri accha ker rahe hai, humare image mat kharaab kijiye...:D BTW freight income me aur downfall hoga or tab tak hoga jab tak freight tariffs ko Road transportation ke barabar nahi laya jata. Jub tak kare koi or bhare koi policy rehegi tab tak ghata hota rahega. Freight ka rate bhi to passenger segment k loss ko compensate karne k liye badhaya gaya tha na.Agar charity kerna hai Railway ko to profit bhool jaye or agar profit chahiye to subsidy bhool jaye. Charity or Munafa sath me nahi hota. Duniya ke sabse mahaan economist ko bula k le aaiye tab bhi railway loss me hi jayega unless loss making classes ke fare na badhaye jaye. Bramh Wakya/undeniable truth hai ki Railway to sirf ek cheej munafe me la sakti hai or wo hai loss making classes k fare me increment or ye bhi...

Agreed. He should have increased prices where IR has a complete monopoly like suburban traffic. They could have increased some rates of SL class as well since those pax won't migrate as well. For ACs, fare should only be increased in those trains that have enough demand like Vaishali and not trains like DEE-YPR Duronto. And most important of all , IR should migrate to dynamic fare structure than flexi fare.

Hum freight nhi jaate... Logo ko asuvidha hui hai crap flexible fares se...is liye khali chal rahe hai shatabdi aur dusri trains.... Faltu dikhawa na karte hue govt ko flexi fares band karna chahiye.... Budget me nai badhate fares budget k bad badhate hai aise nautanki hai. Previous govt atleast had guts to raise fares in budget...but disgrace is that we have weak opposition now...they don't raise voice...like before when any accidents or tragedies occurs the RM was asked to resign...bt now.. nobody to question nobody to answer.... Shame....
