क्यू ट्रैक पर यात्री गाड़ियां चलने का इंतजार लंबा होता जा रहा है। अनुमति के लिए फाइल रेलवे बोर्ड में अटकी है। सारी प्रक्रिया पूरी हो चुकी है, बस रेल मंत्री सुरेश प्रभु के हस्ताक्षर होना बाकी हैं। सांसद सुधीर गुप्ता व कांतिलाल भूरिया भी जल्दी यात्री गाड़ी चलवाने की कोशिश में लगे हैं। रेल मंत्री के हस्ताक्षर होते ही पहले अजमेर-रतलाम एक्सप्रेस इंदौर तक बढ़ाई जाएगी और दो अन्य ट्रेनें रूट बदलकर चलाई जाएंगी

(1) Signing of departmental files by RM/ MoS is a protocol which cannot be bypassed. If RM is out of Delhi for a few days, there is no option but file has to wait for signature.
(2) Power of taking decisions have been delegated to IR officials by present RM to an extent like never before.
(3) Mr. Prabhu, a qualified chartered accountant is such a fast doer, that he keeps himself on multi-tasking, meeting to visitors while his reading of departmental file is going on, also attending to important telephones in
between. This was reported by an astonished reporter who visited him for an interview. He is almost single handedly credited to bring in a regime in IR, where decision making/ project clearances has become three times faster, that too with in a span of 1-1.5 years! It is difficult to believe that he will sit on a departmental file, unless there is a valid reason. His past performances and actions are compelling factors for not believing in such reports prima facie, unless they are backed by due evidences/ facts.
(4) The word "file atki padi hai" is a phrase which imply or give a first hand feeling that the file is with RM for several weeks without any reason. The news paper should have given info indicating for how many days/weeks/months the file is lying unattended on RM's table? There is no accountability on media about the concurrence of facts with the meaning/sentiments they convey in their reports. This is why the media freely play jugglery with words, by selecting words at their whims and fancies, in a way so as to fulfil their vested interests, and do injustice to their profession, nation and people.
(5) During Di's rule Rly board officials have to take files to Kolkata for her signature!! She hardly visited New Delhi. There were talks among media/ persons that Rly HQ may have to be shifted to Kolkata as CRB was always flying to Kolkata with bundle of files for clearance/signature of RM! This always used to be a subject of amusement and was very hot news through out her tenure, which rail fans should not at least forget.
(6) Laluji too used to spent a lot of time to state politics (as he was also uncrowned CM of Bihar) though not as much as Di, who was always in "state" mode and never came in "national" mode during her tenure as RM. Where as the current RM does not harbour such political ambitions and is fully dedicated to IR, always putting in efforts to expand capacity and relieve IR of bottlenecks, which are result of past RMs not investing enough in IR, and draining away scarce and precious IR funds in populist policies, just in order to enhance their electoral prospects.
(7) Keeping in view the level of reporting by our news papers, esp. local ones, one has to very often read in between the lines to have an idea of truth. Media knows very well, that easiest way to increase their popularity is by igniting the emotions of a common man through half baked, half truth (often giving an impression contrary to the fact).
