on his issue of transformation of the railways, the minister said that his ministry is determined to make stations like airports. He said they have launched several passenger friendly amenities including facilities for differently abled travellers and even a Braille system for blind travellers.
Prabhu said that cleanliness at the railway stations has greatly improved. Citing examples, he said that in Rajastan, art galleries have been set up at stations, in Ratnagiri lifts, escalators and travelators have been installed and in Surat, essential travel services like the taxi, metro and railway have been brought under one roof. He also spoke about the newly launched e-catering system where railway travellers can order food of their choice including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, local food of the area and home cooked food. All these developments, he said, were done in partnership with the civil society wherein both, railways and society can generate benefits.
In his address South Western Railway general manager A K Gupta said that a new building is being built at Vasco with better reservation facilities and services to the passengers. He also said that more railway stations in the state including the Kulem and Sanvordem stations will be upgraded with better facilities.

Making trains sleek and fast like aeroplanes should be first priority and making rly stns like airports second.
Because journey is the picture and station is just the title sequence.
Good picture make a movie hit and not just the good title.
