With the Kanpur accident doing the rounds in blogs and media, this very unfortunate accident throws light on the necessity for a safe travel and good infrastructure required for safe,comfortable and punctual operation of trains. Despite gangmen monitoring tracks all throughout the day, some things are beyond the control of human beings. The blame cant be entirely put on the current RM and officials. IR has gone through years of negligence in terms of safety and infrastructure. Media keeps reporting things which may or may not be true. Some channels may try to popularise themselves or aim to get good TRP ratings. Also media shouldn't interview passengers as they are yet to come out of the shock and must be given some time.
