Anakapalle MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao has written to the Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair (East Coast Railway), the General Manager of South Western Railway (SWR), Hubbali and the Chief Operation Manager, SWR, Hubbali, seeking the conversion of the Visakhapatnam-Yeswantpur Suvidha express into Tatkal special.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao, while appreciating SWR for running the special train from Visakhapatnam to Yeswantpur for the benefit of a huge number of Telugu people working in the IT industry in Bengaluru, said many rail users had brought to his notice that the Yeswantpur-Visakhapatnam special is being run as Tatkal special but in the return trip it is operated as Suvidha express, causing a lot of financial burden on them. He also sought running the Yeswantpur-Visakhapatnam-Yeswantpur train as
a daily originating train.

Dear Sh.Chamudipati,
> Reference to your mail below, the matter was checked with ECoR . While it is true that the train was fired in the system after a delay the train type to be run - as Suvidha or Special - is decided by the respective Zonal Railways based on the demand pattern and is provided for under the rules.
In this case SWR had decided to run it as a Special while ECoR had decided to run it as Suvidha. It is permissible to run the train as Special in one direction and as Suvidha in the other direction. However, IR regrets the inconvenience caused to you due to delay in opening of booking for the train ex VSKP. The delay occurred due to timely information not provided by SWR to ECoR. The concerned Railways have been instructed to ensure proper coordination to see that there is no inconvenience to travelling passengers.

Its clearly given in twitter PR by SWR with time table, so it means zonal officials it self not seeing twitter Press release. Then how railways expect people to see ??
Better stop twitter updates then

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
