Apart from that GTL may benefit after completion of electrification of GTL-WADI. Some trains like KSK may be re-routed. In march when Bidar-GR new line opens, if a train to YPR is started, again it will pass thru GTL.
What? what did I say to get an objection?
I said good things are bound to happen to GTL after electrification. Like maybe re-routing of few trains. Or maybe some new trains like "Boxer Bhai" was pointing out.
I have done some independent research and found a solution to this problem. That is connecting DHNE-GTL and RC-GTL lines. Just before GTL town these two lines come very close to each other may be about 0.5kms, after Mallappa Gate.
If these lines can be connected in such a way that trains coming from DHNE go the RC-GTL line at Guntakal Chord Cabin, then rake reversal problem will be avoided, this will bring some bypassing trains back to GTL.

Train coming to junctions, taking reversals it consumes a lot of time & platform vacancy as well.
If a passing or a through line is constructed it would be much relief then.
