a wrong update may make your life hell...
on 9th Dec i have some urgent work in my home city Varanasi...after analyzing arrival/departure history book my ticket in Mahanama 22418 and bit sure the delay will be lesser as compared to 12560(which is running horribly late).
at or around 5pm 22418 rescheduled to 23:30 so finishing my work left for station and reached there around 23:10 till then no update for further reschedule so i am bit sure train will depart at 23:30 i was moving towards mentioned pf i.e.2/4 at 23:15 they
reschedule the train at 2am which get further reschedule to 2:50am....a timely update can save my time i can have my meal properly can finish my others task but unfortunately railway never bothered about time of common people(even not own).
i am amaze how they couldn't anticipate the actual time of departure..
now what happen with the 12560 and 12394 12562 on that day
primarily they announced 12560 will depart at 6:50 (means u have to be at station at least by 6:40)
12394 was suppose to depart at 2am(u need to be there at 1:45)
12582 was reschedule to depart at 4am
now what they did in actual
12582---- around 10am
there are more trains whose first update was not good for the passengers even Lucknow shatabdi is not spared from this on that day
now concern is why don't they update properly, IR updated for 12560 at 6:50am but train departed at 14:25 means 7:30hrs difference
12394 was departed in morning around 10am its 8hrs difference similarly for 12582 i am sure they updated it in last moment when people like me was on the way to station or at the station they are forced to spent whole night at station in winter....huge mismanagement by IR in cold weather..1hr or 2hr is understood but 7hr or 8hr is literally very bad.
i also tweeted to ministry of railway and raised my concern as usual got the reply matter is forwarded to concern official (at least they forwarded) but still no work on that direction.
if more people raise this to ministry i am sure something may change "A Drop may fill the ocean"
IR must respect the time of common people.
PS: i mentioned the time which i remember there may be slight difference not like IR 8hrs ;)

one more they did wrong on 11th dec they cancelled 12559 and amazingly they updated it around 4pm what they were doing from morning if they know the train cannot be continue on that day due to heavy delay then why not they updated it at least 12hrs before so that passengers can arrange something...i have also ticket in 12559 got that shocked of cancellation but somehow manage to get ticket in BSB GR.

but i think its impossible to anticipate how much delay can happen... 5 hour error is easily possible.....i think passengers should book in train which start ontime from source.

sir why cant IR anticipate...plz tell us so that i can also understand the there logic
on that day 12559 was just crossed cnb at or around 23:00 and in fog hell it cant be touched delhi in 7hrs where others train took 12-16hrs ....GOD knows which technology they are using.
i may agree for 1hr or 2hr.
i have one more example BBS
rajdhani was schedule to depart at 00:30 on 2nd december but departed in morning it good for passengers? you dont think IR must give right update?
