Telengana ( 17 Lok shabha MP ) and Andhra Pradesh 25 MP have been implemented separate Railway Zone for both the States by dividing SCR under state reorganization committee.
So the Central Government has to be taken a policy decision ,such that every state ( more than 17 MP ) has a separate Railway Zone for their state Railway infrastructure development.
Smaller state / Union Territory have to be in the combined Railway Zone.

The entire Railway Zone has to be named with the concerned State/ UT .
Example...SR have to be reclassified as Tamilnadu & Puducherry Railway Zone in Chennai and Kerala Railway Zone at Thiruvananthapuram.
SWR reclassified as Karnataka Railway Zone.
SCR reclassified as Telengana Railway Zone at Secandrabad and Andhra Pradesh Railway Zone at Visakhapatnam.
Central Railway reclassified as Maharashtra Railway Zone .WR reclassified as Gujarat Railway Zone.
Similarly all other existing Railway Zones have to be reclassified as their jurisdictions state / UT.
Reclassified Railway Zone with State names with state jurisdictions railway lines are totally free from directional and confused Zones.
The Railway development additional infrastructure works can be carried out with full cooperation of the state government. Presently Karnataka state comes under 5 different Zones viz SWR,SR,SCR,CR and Konkan.Under state name reorganization of Railway zone comes under Karnataka Railway Zone and its development works may be carried out vastly with full State government involvement.
So requested our Central government / Nidhi Ayok to reorganize the entire Railway Zones with State / UT names.
