Trip report (in continuation of #2332922):
Arrived SBC at around 5 am, 12028 was yet to be shunted...
Sbc mail arrived at around 5:05 Am onto Pf 3, 12677 to ERS was already on Pf 4 with it's EMD coupled.
First RMGM pass was shunted to Pf 5, then Shtb was shunted at around 5:20 Am, later checked the Loco, which turned out
to be an ET P4 22931, went to my coach C12, which was full, had a seat in a 2 seater, track side, engine facing..
Train departed sharp at 6 Am with a slightly heavy jerk...At BNC, crossed 12785 hauled by Alco twins (couldn't notice shed), at BNCE, 16235 was waiting for us with an EMD leading it.. Halted for a min at BYPL before starting off..
Crossed 56214 just before KJM led by a WAG7 and near WFD, Island crossed us, hauled by a P4 and at Devangonthi, Hwh-Ypr crossed us... But there was something missing..
Proceeded at good Pace to reach BWT at 7:05 am, where Mkm sbc pass waited for us with an Rpm P7 leading it... In between all of this, there were a lot of freight crossings too
Finally at KPN, the missing link was completed- 16316 led by an P4 was ready for departure, running very late... proceeded at good Pace till SKPT where we slowed down and crawled into JTJ at 8:05 Am, where breaking was served, consisted of Upma/Vada/ Chutney+Sambar/bread, butter, jam and a tetra pack juice.. Upma quantity was unimaginably less, quality was average, after that, pantry staff came distributing Feedback forms, after Jtj picked up speed. Meanwhile I slept for a while, only to wake up when train was blasting past Latteri, later slowed down to enter Kpd at 9:03 Am, the last 2 km, we had a parallel run with Villupuram-tpty pass arriving almost 30 min early, it was led by ED WAP4. 3 min later we took off... As we exited Kpd, first Cbe shtb crossed us with a madly honking P7 and then DD crossed us with a P7 too... Slept again only to wake up at Melpakkam, time was 9:45, pretty good run, ten min later we slowly crawled into AJJ, with a huge crowd waiting in the EMU platform..
After AJJ, picked up speed near Puliyamangalam and maintained 110 till Tiruvallur, where we changed to fast line, after that, again started to blast, slowed down near Avadi and picked up Pace once again... Moved on sedately with quite a few EMUs crossing and crossed PER at 10:45 Am, thought of a BT arrival, but then controllers had other plans I guess..
Passed BBQ at 10:55 Am and later slowed to completely halt.. 5 min later, we departed and slowly arrived into PF 2 of MAS at 11:05 Am, as West coast occupied Pf 3, Charminar 4, Garudadri 8 , Andaman 1 (it was being shunted out) , 12696 PF 6 and announcements went for Cstm exp to depart from Pf 1 when the rake itself was yet to be shunted!
Thank you, sorry couldn't enable trip diary and also no pics due to heavy RPF at SBC and MAS.
