Normally, when new Govt comes new priorities come. However we all thought NDA is good as they dont such vendetta but looks like they are more focused on doing vendetta then developments atleast this is true in case of Karnataka. And its all politics Politics by Railway Minister of Maharastra (not of India)... Few people(officials) in gulbarga railway station mentioned 1-2 years back that there is direction from senior people not sanction much money and projects to Gulbarga(however it could be their personal view).

Many projects are struck in some of them are as below.
- Second Pit line tender was awarded and was cancelled in mid way by new Govt..
- 5 crores tender cancelled for Admin building at Gulbarga
- Multifunctional complex tender cancelled work stopped
- Second FOB at Gulbarga station (wadi end) work suspended from last 3 years by new govt
- Tender was approved for lift at Gulbarga work not started
- Wadi-Gulbarga electrification works was suspended for last 1 year now seen some signs of restarting it
- Still the fourth platform is cleared for official use of passenger trains
- Second entry of Gulbarga station is ready but not inaugurated
- Water station facilities is ready but not getting utilized
- New yard remodeling work is stopped
- Railway division which is now approved by Railway board is awaiting approval from Railway Minister of Maharastra.
