Introducing Bi or tri weekly of LHB Duronto cannot be done until and unless the entire Daund - Wadi gets doubled and electrified.Duronto runs max speed of 130kmph on double Electric line.on a single track like Bhigwan - solapur gulbarga many SF train's gets delayed due to crossings.and doubling and electrification of Entire Bhigwan Gulbarga will take at least max 3 years till then u can't expect Duronto between SBC/ YPR - CSTM .in case of YPR DEE Duronto it's a different case .The route was electrified from NDLS - SC ,so introduction of Duronto between NDLS - YPR was not a problem. The trains runs on MPS between SC - NDLS without delay.

Only doubling is not the constraint here.
Check out the stretch between Pune-Solapur-Wadi...The trains which are Superfast here, they generally have least counts of halts.
Like Siddheswar , Hutatma , PUNE SUR Intercity, DR MS SF , Latur SF, SUR YPR SF, Karnataka express etc.
Udyan have record number of halts here in this stretch just like CSTM MAS Mail and express.

So Speed can be increased only by removing the halts (nearly 10-15 halts need to be removed) and full doubling through out.

with full doubling full electrification also required so that wap7's can cime in these route

Doubling along with electrification is much important .Wap7 and wap5 can put out a good show here by hauling train's on time. Now that 12163 dadar Chennai egmore and chennai mail got change of traction two days back from Wadi - MAS , it helps to reduce the time atleast 15 - 20 minutes which is a bonus point.Now coming to the point i.e No.of haltings ,yes I believe it should be removed ,more no.of haltings also leads to delay in train's .stations which are unnecessary must be skipped. Now for udyan express LHB is highly impossible due to single line on Pune solapur Gulbarga.First completion of doubling is necessary on CR then can think of Humsafar duronto LHBfying etc.
