more... WDP-4D. The GT46PAC is a passenger version of the previous Indian Railways EMD GT46MAC freight locomotive. The locomotive has a 16-cylinder 710G3B diesel engine with a maximum speed of 904 RPM.
The first set of 10 locos starting from road number 20000–20009 were manufactured by the Electro Motive Division (EMD) of (General Motors) 20005 is one of them.

Due to part electrification, it gets two locomotives. Between Mumbai CST and Vijayawada Junction, First it used to haul with WDP-4D of Kalyan shed and now it uses WDP-4/4B of UBL i.e. Hubbali shed, from Vijayawada Junction till Visakhapatnam Junction, it is hauled by a WAP-4 of Lallaguda shed and a WAP-7 of Visakhapatnam Shed hauls it till Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
Recently a traction change caused adding up of electric loco in Vijaywada Wadi section, link is WAP4 of Vijaywada for that leg.
