* Clientele of Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Duronto trains was increasing at a fast pace since last 2 decades. Frequency as well as the number of coaches of most of these trains have increased over the period of time.
* But with the introduction of Flexifares, the number of paxs in these train have reduced significantly instead of maintaining the increasing trend. Had flexifares been withdrawn, patronage of such trains shall jump sharply and many more such trains shall be required to meet traffic demand.

more... Durontos shall not be able to attract paxs. and thesesuch trns should have non SL/IIS(J-S type) coaches. Each trn should run with max. permissible coaches (22LHB/24ICF) to take full advantage of precious line capacity. With LHB coaches 130kmph is possible for non ac coaches as well. Premium trains should have maximum number of ac coaches as per traffic demand and non ac coaches should be added to to maximize the trn length.
