I want to Know the Average Revenue Per Train,For Example Considering Mayiladuthurai to Mysore Express,ASSUME ALL THE TICKETS ARE BOOKED FROM MV TO MYSORE

Costing in a service sector like this is much different considering that you will have many semi-variable costs present and classification of some of the costs is a bit difficult-so its very tough to directly relate the costs with the revenue-and that too in Indian railways there are no sector specific costing but the costing is quite generic all over India-so a detailed analysis of cost like this will take quite some time because of the time taken to properly classify the costs
how?. As the distance increases fare gets down..
But in passenger trains more stops and fare from one station to next (short distance) is high. Strength of people in passenger trains are more compare to durunto. Problem may be without ticket travelling in passenger trains.

how to get details of cost of maintainance and income of particular train?
Ya there some reasons. Good duranto's are like flights...They dont have any tatkal quota that means they will get income 3 months before. For example 3 lakhs in advance + Interest..so compare to these trains for duranto's having more demand will give more revenue.
