#Korutla #stationboard #sb
Read this horrific interesting story of how I missed the late running right time train and the stupid station master of Korutla.
As most of you know Nizamabad Jn. which is on SC-MMR Line is now a converging station for NZB-Karimnagar-Peddapalli Line on which only one service that is Nizamabad-Karimnagar-Nizamabad Demu is being plyed daily. I am from Nizamabad and 4 days ago I had site outlay survey in Bheemgal (Nizamabad Dist) which around 50 kilometers by road. So me along with my friend and our
...
sir went to Bheemgal by car and once we were finished by 01:30PM, my friend said he had some work in Korutla which is 40 kms from Bheemgal. So both of us had to take a bus to Korutla (our sir had to stay in bheemgal because he had some other work). So once we reached Korutla, it was 03:30PM and we completed our work by 04:30 PM and then had lunch. And now here it starts..
The departure time of KRMR-NZB Demu from Karimnagar is 02:35PM and it arrives at Korutla at 05:10PM and reaches destination Nizamabad at 07:30PM. So both of us were happy that we would take the train for the first time on PDPL-KRMR-NZB Line. We searched for an auto for half an hour and asked if they could take us to korulta station, to my horror most people didn't even knew that there is a railway station in in their own town. Oh my god, then finally there was a guy who charged Rs 40 and took us to the station which is on the outskirts of the town. Once we reached the station, we went to take the ticket, the counters were closed and there was no one in the railway station except the station master, he was so dumb and might be illiterate too, that he didn't even know what he was talking about. It was around 5PM then, we asked when will the tickets counters be opened, he said we don't open the ticket counter but you have to take the ticket in the train just like you do in the bus. Listening to him I was like WTF, but then I thought may be as the new line isn't fully operational they are doing this. I asked him when will the KRMR-NZB train arrive he said 07:30PM and told the train runs late daily by at least 2 and half hours. But when I looked up the train status online it didn't depart Karimnagar itself. The station master told that the Karimnagar-Mortad train will arrive Korutla in half an hour (actually this train didn't even existed). When I looked up online again the status on KRMR-NZB Line it was showing a train was arriving at Korutla . we thought it was KRMR-Mortad Pass and waited half an hour so that we could could take that train till morthad and take a bus from there to NZB. there were so many people (around 15 to 20) waiting for the train. after half an hour a freight train (maal gaadi) arrived at the station, we thought our train is behind this maal gaadi, all the people started leaving the station once the maal gaadi left korulta. I was astonished and my brain was fu**** up. then when i checked online again it showed the train had left korulta, the i realized it was showing the status of that maal gaadi. it was around 6PM, we went back to station master, and asked when will your KRMR-Morthad train arrive, that chu**** now told that there is no morthad train, he said he told that Karimnagar-NZB train will also touch morthad. my friend was so pissed off. YOU KNOW WHY THOSE 15 to 20 PEOPLE CAME TO THE STATION ? JUST TO SEE THAT MAAL GAADI, THEY HAVEN"T SEEN A TRAIN IN THEIR LIFE I THINK. Then the station master called up someone over the phone and intimated us that KRMR-NZB train hadn't departed KRMR yet, so it would be around 8PM till the train comes to Korutla.
Now seeing no hope and no auto we both walked 2 kms to the bus station and we met more 2 our friends there, they had heavy luggage with them. They told they were waiting since an hour but there is no bus to NZB. Though some buses arrived, the rush was so high that people were standing in the bus door. It was 7PM, we 4 guys looked up the train status again and the train had departed KRMR at around 6PM and we had hope it would arrive Korutla by 07:45PM. So once again we decided we go by train and then we 4 took the luggage and took an auto to the railway station. It was 07:15PM and once we went inside the station and enquired about the KRMR-NZB train, the station master told that the train left Korutla 5 mins ago. now you guys think how i was feeling, we looked at each other faces and came out of the station it was around 07:30PM. The dark road that connects the railway station to the bus station was so deserted that there wasn't even a vehicle passing by. After more half an hour seeing no hope we could get an auto, one of my friends took a lift from a two wheeler (thank you bro) and went back to the main road to bring back an auto, after 20 mins he came back with an auto and with their heavy luggage we went back to bus stand. Then we took a bus and came back to NZB by 10PM. The train which left Korutla by 7PM arrived at NZB at around 12AM.
Thank God. and THANK YOU IF YOU READ THIS LENGTHY POST. :)

Actually no use of the train it seems.....Because if a train is running late by more than one hour is nightmare for the passenger.....Waiting at platform that to in rural areas station especially.

I can believe the timings of the DEMU. Another new SCR line YA-NDL, that too has such low MPS. That DEMU too is delayed for 3-4 Hrs daily.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
