Here are a few ways, by which more connectivity can be made to Secunderabad from many parts of India, "WITHOUT EXTRA RAKES"
Kindly note, I am just altering Days of operation of train, their extension, and other possible rake sharing. Kindly don't, rather let it be a healthy discussion.
1) EXTENSIONS
i) Extension of 12771/2 to BSP as 22771 only on Fridays. Reach BSP...
more... on Saturday noon, in return let 22772 depart on Sunday noon, arrive NGP at it existing time (12772 can exactly be shifted by 1 day), and can reach SC on Monday instead of Sunday. Monday night it will depart as 12771 again. This will also attract more BSP/R/NGP people working in Hyderabad who wants to reach on Monday morning and continue their job.
ii) Extension of SC-DNR SF Express to MFP via PPTA on any 1 day (Monday), and to BGP on another 1 day (via KIUL, on Wednesdays). So SC-DNR is retained daily, but MFP and BGP will get weekly connectivity. In return, MFP SC on Wednesdays and BGP-SC on Fridays.
iii)Owing to the fact that no direct connectivity from SC to CDG/HW/MB/BE, Dakshin Express (In future of it gets delinked) can be extended to HW on Monday, CDG on Wednesday, and BE on Fridays (SC-NGP & TPTY SK is there to take a bit of load of NGP/DLI pax). It has quite a good TAT at NZM and this 4-5 hours journey extension can do the needful.
2) UTLISATION OF SPARE RAKES
i) By shifting SC-LTT Duronto on Thurdays from SC and Fridays from LTT, and changing its time from LTT so that it departs from PUNE at night will attract quite a IT people's weekend rush to SC. By this change, Rake will arrive SC on Saturday, and same rake can go to VSKP as SC-VSKP ACSF Express on Sat.
So SC-SHM ACSF rake gets free, extend this to DBRG/AGTL. So: Depart SC on Tue, Arrive KYQ on Thu morning, DBRG/AGTL on Thu evening. Depart AGTL/DBRG on Fri evening, KYQ on sat morning, arrive SC Mon Morning.
ii) AFAIK, Rake of SC-TPTY-KRMR-TPTY-SC which departs SC on Friday, finally arrives SC next week's Saturday. So I think this rake is lying idle for 6.5 days at SC yard. So, this rake can be weekly sent to CDG, as Telangana Sampark Kranti Express, via NZB,NED (first connectivity from NZB to Delhi), with slot sharing with NED-SGNR/UHL weekly SFs from NED onwards.
iii) With increasing coaches in HYB-VSG weekly express, rake of which is kept in HYB yard for 5 days, that rake can be used as HYB-SGNR Weekly Express via ADI-JU-BKN.
iv) 1 out of 2 Rakes of KCG-MDU+MAQ stays idle for 5 days at KCG from Monday to Friday. With that rake, Either a weekly train to Jammu Tawi or to Udaipur could be run!
