please i request you to do some research before commenting like this. Kodagu is one of the most developed districts in entire South India. Its a huge tourist attraction plus a very good cultured place to live in. having said that, a rail line is not needed here at the cost of doing so much damage to environment.

Yes. This should be stopped at any cost. We need to give importance to Tumkur Davangere line , Tumkur Rayadurga line, Kudachi Bagalkot, Wadi Gadag, Raichur Ginigera , Sakhlespura Chikkamagaluru. We have so many in our list to take care. Lets not burden by committing this Thalaseery or Nilamboor lines.

Kodagu is one of the most prosperous districts in Karnataka. It is inhabited by a rich lot of flora and fauna which is why its much important to the state. It makes a significant contribution to economy, agriculture and ecotourism. So any move that disturbs this system will not be desired by the people. So,IR must think of an alternative or the project maybe shelved and run more trains within SWR.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
