“Jabalpur Railway Division has a special place in Indian Railways and I am fortunate to work in this division,” said new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Manoj Singh.
While talking to media persons here on Thursday, he said that railway’s safety, protection, punctuality and staff welfare are on his priorities. Besides making Jabalpur railway station better, efforts would be made to make the whole division one of the best divisions and passengers would be provided with better services, he added.

Providing details of works in the divisions, Singh said that laying work of third track from Bina to Jabalpur has been started and with the completion of the work the number of passenger trains would be increased.
To a query of developing Madan Mahal, as terminus he said that the work of Rs 150 crore is at planning stage and the work would commence soon.
Improvement in making coach guidance system installed at railway stations, availability of good and hygienic food at railway stations and safety of railway employees would be ensured.
One of the common problems witnessed during winter is delay due to fog and measures to tackle fog borne delay would be taken.
On the occasion, Additional Railway Manager Anju Surendra, SDCM Anand Kumar, Senior Division Engineer Vijay Pandey, Senior Division Engineer YK Vimal were present.

BINA-KTE almost dedicated fright route hai. East-West Freight movement haha se hi hota hai.
ET-JBP-KTE pe abhi Tripling ki zaroorat nahi h. Maybe after 3-4 years we may consider it. BPL-ET must be the top priority.
