But that's hard to do as it runs through the heart of Bangalore City.

The routes are different, AC EMU and Metro serve different parts. Both route people may pay money for AC travel. There are a lot of AC buses in that city already. People can afford.
Again my question - how will AC in Metro help a traveller in local train ЁЯШ╡ЁЯШ╡ЁЯШ╡

No , with metro in bangalore being popular , and also with AC buses , it's a doubt whether AC EMUs will receive popularity. Metro and Buses have greater reach into the city than IR. I am not talking of travellers in normal locals , but of travellers in AC locals. Let's see how AC local receives patronage in mumbai. Then it can be introduced in Chennai or Hyderabad. Those results will help in coming to an idea whether AC local would be good for bangalore.

My choice was pretty simple - always all suburban trains AC or new ones or the entire cost for the lines are borne by Center for Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata.
Both Bengaluru and Hyderabad have to pay for their rakes and never get any support from Center. So they both wont get AC rakes.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
