The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train that was scheduled to be completed by 2023, has advanced its completion deadline to August 15, 2022.
As per a report, the civil work on the 508km-long Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor (MAHSR) has been fast-tracked and will begin in June this year.
The railway authorities have advanced the completion deadline so that it coincides with 75 years of India's independence.

At least all the Metre Gauge and Narrow Gauge tracks have to be Broad Gauge conversion on or before 3/2023 in our Indian Railway systems.
