Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway stated that the respect for women in our society is imbibed in our culture itself, which not just honours them but also worships them. However we have forgotten those values and have been treating women with prejudice and contempt. It is the bounden duty of every o­ne of us to evoke our consciousness and stop this ill treatment towards women. He was speaking as the Chief Guest at a meeting held o­n the occasion of International Women’s Day, organized by South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) at Rail Nilayam Auditorium, Secunderabad today i.e., 7th March, 2018.
The General Manager alsopraised the dedication of women employees in securing the award of best Zonal Railway
to the S.C.Railway and hoped that the same trend will continue. He informed that, every action would be taken to resolve the grievances of women employees. He also stated that today, our Zone has got women working in almost all spheres of operations night and day. It is indeed a big achievement that Chandragiri, Begumpet and Phirangipuram Railway Stations o­n SCR have become all women employee stations, provision of exclusive rest rooms and exclusive running rooms etc.
Greeting the women employees o­n this occasion, Mrs.Archana Yadav, President, South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation stressed o­nthe need for empowerment of women in the world. She has also expressed her happiness over the opening of “All women stations” o­n SCR. She stated that, a global programme need to be chalked out to eradicate gender inequality as decided in World Economic Forum. She has also expressed happiness over the appointment of sportswomen o­n SCR.
Shri. N.V.Ramana Reddy, Chief Personnel Officer, SCR; Shri K.Srinivas, President, SCRMU, Shri Sankara Rao, General Secretary, SCRMU, Smt. T. Kalavathi, Zonal Women’s co-ordinator, SCR MU also spoke o­n the occasion.

How about SWR does any stations chooses to do all women stations? I guess one station will be nearby benagaluru or Mysuru or Shimoga or Hassan it will be chosen. .And of course our Big boss Hubli region will be also in cards like Dharwad is good to do such one..

That suggestion if agreed then this Extension matter would not going to happen here.. Now also I suggest SWR to run UBL Mumbai CST with PM at UBL with 20 to 22 coaches and 22139/40 to utilize as SUR Ballari daily ICE..
