SRC is overcrowded already that is why rakes are parked at different Loops at BVA/PKU etc. Plans are there to increase the no of PFs but where they will make the new ones no one knows. Last day when I went to Santragachi I saw Coromandel/MAS mails was parked on PF 3. In CDO there is lack of space so can't make any new PF in SRC. New PFs can be built at SHM.
A new CDO complex is indeed needed at SHM The existing CDO complex is too much congested. Infact trains like hwh ypr exp are bifurcated into two parts for providing them PM. So a new CDO at SHM is must and alll trains originating from SRC/SHM should be transfered to SHM CDO
Absolutely. You will see LHB rakes are divided into small parts and parked at Andul, Bauria, Uluberia, MCA and PKU. Plus as you mentioned HWH YPR are divided into 2 parts to give PM same with HWH-CSTM via NGP.
