* I always thank by heart Mr Prabhu for starting the onboard help to the needy travelers on occasion of emergency at nominal cost, whenever news appears that somebody has got emergent medical help on train.
* But some mischevious/selfish people misuse this facility by requesting medical help for trivial reasons, making a mockery of the doctor who comes all the way to rly station and waits a long time for the train to arrive, leaving his/her regular but serious patients waiting.
* Calling a doctor at home practically costs upwards of Rs...
more... 1000/- and even Rs 100/- is too low a cost. The medical consultation given to the traveler definitely cost Rs 1000/- or more to IR, as the doctor have to spend more than 1 hr in the process.
