appron jaisa koi fitting dress rahne se hi fayda hai kyuki loose cloth machinary/ engine parts /field duty ke liye sahi nahi hai.
kuch din pehle hi ek ladies LP ka chunni loco ke base me fas gaya tha aur accident hote hote bacha

"Their uniforms are either a khaki salwar kameez or a shirt and pant depending on the category of work" jub already Railway ne appropriate dress code decide ker rakha hai to Alag se apron dene ka ka jarurat. Operational duty me, irrespective of sex sabhi ko pant hi pehenna chahiye taaki loose cloth phansne se problem na aaye. Uniform ka matlab hi hota hai uniformity maintain kerna, jub wahi nahi hoga to TTE train me dhoti kurta pehen k ticket check karenge or pantry waala Sherwani pehen k biryani bantega.

Agreed .jaisa ki pic me dikhaya hai ki LP ko salwar-suit aur chunni diya ja raha hai abhi , jo ki kahi se bhi fit nahi hai lp ki duty ke liye , usko change karke pant aur appron ya fir aur koi suitable uniform hona chahiye jo ki loose na ho.

Wearing apron over their regular clothes..? dear railway board don't agree for that..they can demand quality uniform.
