We are eagerly waiting for Manmad-Parbhani doubling. I think the main hurdles are lack of pursuence by SCR to railway board, divergen of funds and dirty politics in railway board and politics. I guess that this work may get declared in coming 2019 budget jut before the elections... just to show the carrots.
In my personal openion, SCR must have undertake MMR-Aurangabad doubling simulteneously along with PBN-MUE doubling. MMR-AWB section is almost 120% in utilization due to industrial area in Aurangabad. But due to lack of proper politicial leadership, this work was never taken up. Sad.
