The schedule for 22221 is perfect. Just recently, I was analyzing various trains from Mumbai to ET and realized that the ALD Duronto is nearly 40 mts faster than AC Exp. (22109) from BSL to ET. So, this Raj schedule is similar to AC except for a 25 mt speed-up in the BSL-BPL section. I suspect it has been given a 3 hour 55 mt run from BSL to ET, so that it will cross ET around 0:40. 22222 is also faster than 22110 in similar fashion.
As far as halts are concerned, I am not too happy about Jalgaon. I don't feel JL is big enough to warrant a Raj halt...
more... when BSL is already there. I feel the maximum pax will be between the following sectors:
- Nasik and Delhi/Agra
- Kalyan and Delhi/Agra/Bhopal
- CSTM and Agra/Bhopal
