Parallel races in SWR is rare. Here I had a chance to film a high speed parallel race between Hubballi - Bengaluru Jan Shatabdi Express and Talaguppa - Mysuru Inter City Express at Birur Junction.

I have seen Parallel race between MG train and Hampi BG train at Gadag jn In around 90's MG train was going to Bijapur and BG towards Hubli right from station both depart at a time initially Hampi went ahead but finally MG chased it and crossed the Hampi and gone ahead all the BG pass was surprised and i was happy as i am MG traveller ha ha.P
