Yaha se Cut karke sambalpur jata hai
Also acts as CTC bypass
Train like KGP KUR pass, SRC PURI pass cuts from here.

Chicha jho train BBS hoke via naraj(cuttack avoid) karke jaata na vachi line seede aake kapliasroad me milta bus.
Same jho gadi denkenal se agar jajpur side jana hota ye line use karke jati .

Old timetables also show only Nergundi as a junction and not Kapilas. I believe the branch-off towards Talcher is controlled from Nergundi, hence Kapilas Road doesn't get the junction tag.

My fav train HWH TPJ sf exp used to go this line to bypass CTC but now a days it goes via CTC
