Detailed status of doubling and electrification of Pune - Solapur section.
As a part of Solapur - Daund doubling, day before yesterday CRS completed between Wadshinge and Bhalawani.

line should be realigned to accommodate new UP Main Line. As of now, only down side loop line is operational at Kem. At Kurduwadi Junction, major remodeling work is completed. Some minor works are remaining.
Disappointing thing at Kurduwadi is after realignment Pandharpur line will be branch line from UP Main line at Pune outer as shown in the video. It should be separate line coming from PF1 of Kurduwadi to ease the operation.
From Kem to Madha, foundation base for installing poles are created on both lines. Poles are also installed near Kem.

5. Middle line is closed for changing alignment at Kem.
