Bro railway is far more cheaper than other modes for ex a sleeper ticket in a sf train from nagpur to betul Costs 170 which cover journey in 3 hours and a chair car costs 105
But a bus which takes whopping 6 hours costs 200 for a seat and sleeper coach costs as much as 1000 ac and 700 non ac
So railway should increase a bit of fare it is needed for good health of indian railways

Why bro even general class should be also increased, keeping less than buses.
Here in my area, the Railway fare(UR) bw Ferozepur and Chandigarh is 85rs,. Bus normal fare is 220-250rs, and AC bus is 600-700. So why not keep half the bus fare for UR class?
And mind you at least 18-20 buses ply between these cities. With 13+ AC buses.
