It is not surprising that SR PGT have not proposed any train from Mangalore to anywhere in Karnataka - Mysore, Hubli, Belgaum, Ballari, Bijapur etc.
Also no train was proposed to Pune, Nashik, Ahmedabad from Mangalore. Now one has to depend on odd seat quota in Kerala origin trains.
Why not a Mangalore Chennai/ TPTY train via Hassan, which is shorter route than via SRR?

is high time MAQ MAJN be attached to Mysore division or with Konkan Karwar division. Till Mangalore division become reality, atleast this can be thought of.

Yaa agree with your point, we need more trains from Mangaluru to other parts of Karnataka. Mangaluru being a major city in Karnataka, has poor connectivity with the rest of the state

No trains introduced by SWR from Bangalore to Mangalore either. Also no trains from Bangalore to Kerala/Hyderabad or TamilNadu,but only trains to Patna,New Delhi,Mumbai & Howrah introduced by SWR.Not sure why??
