Dear Friends,
This was my second IMG train Travelogue,
#IMGtravelogue💥Please read it fully; otherwise, there's no point in typing this, so please🙏🙏 read it fully.
💥Imagine yourself traveling on this train.
💥Feel like you are on this train.
🚫🚫NOTE: This was not a real travelogue; this was totally imaginary, like running our IMG trains on real tracks with real trains. This is just for entertainment purposes.
Here, all trains were considered:
➡️Train: Mangaluru Junction - Ernakulam Junction Double Decker Express
➡️Loco: RPM WAP7 (non-HOG) with an old look.
Okay, we shall start our Travelogue.
Today I'm going to take the Mangaluru Ernakulam Double Decker Express. I'm traveling from Thalassery to Ernakulam Junction.
I came to Thalassery station at 15:30. The scheduled time for my train was 16:18. As soon as I entered the station, I saw 56602//Kannur Shoranur Pass entering Thalassery with a chugging Alco ERS WDM3A. While this was standing at PF/2, 56657//Kozhikode Kannur Pass entered PF1, and 56602 departed from PF/2. After a minute, 56657 also departed from PF1.
At 16:25, 12602//Mangaluru Chennai Mail arrived at PF2 with an RPM WAP-7 and departed within a minute.
Within 9 minutes after the departure of the mail, our train, the ERS Double Decker, entered Thalassery with an EOG sound. Its loco link was an RPM WAP7. It entered PF2, and I took my seat in coach C6. Our train arrived at Thalassery at 16:35, with a 17-minute delay, and departed at 16:36. The WAP-7 gave a shrill honk and accelerated slowly, continuing to be slow. After 2 minutes from departure, the WAP7 gave a high-tense horn and accelerated madly. We crossed Mahe at 110 MPS. We crossed the mighty KSK (hauled by an ED WAP4) at Chemancheri at MPS. The Parasuram Express (with an ED WAP4) was looped at Elathur for overtaking by the Egmore Mangaluru Express, and at West Hill, we crossed the Egmore Mangaluru Express (with an RPM WAP7). We slowed down to enter Kozhikode, entering at 17:35 at PF5. The Kannur Shoranur Pass was standing at PF3, and the MAQ MAS Mail was standing at PF4. I thought that our DD would depart first, but unexpectedly, the mail departed, and we departed Kozhikode at 17:53, with a 38-minute delay. We met the Mangala Lakshadweep Exp. with an AJJ WAP1 at Kozhikode Outer. I saw the Netravati Exp. before Kadalundi with an ED WAP4 blasting. We slowed down near Tirur to overtake the MAQ Mail; finally, we overtook it. As we started to accelerate after the overtaking, I heard an EMD humming sound. The CBE-HISAR AC Express crossed at good speed with a BGKT WDP4 (SHF). It was really nice. After Kuttipuram, we crossed the CBE-Kannur Fast Pass and the Shoranur-Kozhikode Pass, both with ED WAP4s. Finally, we reached Shoranur Jn. at 19:02, with a 39-minute delay, and departed Shoranur at 19:05. We crossed the Thrissur-Shoranur Pass at Vallathol Nagar.
At Wadakkanchery, I saw the Alappuzha-Kochuveli Exp. with a mega offlink BZA WAP4. We made a speedy arrival at Thrissur at 19:30, with a 35-minute delay, and departed Thrissur after a 2-minute halt. We crossed the Ernakulam-Shoranur Pass and the Island Exp., both with ED WAP7s, at Chalakudy. We crossed the Millennium Express with an ED WAP4, and we arrived at Aluva at 20:17, with a 33-minute delay, and departed at 20:30. While at Aluva, we saw the ERS-Guruvayur Pass and the KCVL-Shri Ganganagar Exp. with AJJ WAP4 and RPM WAP7, respectively.
We accelerated fastly from Aluva and arrived at Ernakulam Town at 20:48. There was the TVC-MAS Mail with an RPM WAP7. After departing Ernakulam Town at 20:50, it was a slow run. Finally, we were approaching ERS. Before entering Ernakulam Junction, I saw many locos like ERS WDM3A twins, triplets, ERS WDP4D, WAP4, and WAP7 parade. We entered ERS at PF2 while the Kochuveli Mysuru Express was ready for departure from PF1, which was also delayed. We reached ERS at 20:57, with a 2-minute delay.
We had our dinner at a hotel near the station.
And our Travelogue completes here.
Hope you enjoyed!!💥💥
