Lot of difference is there.
People travel in TS sf, but dakshin carries people.

TN is able to burn the tracks without much of a slowndown because of its elder sibling GT stops at every important station and caters intermediate passengers. TN of course will be preferred to GT due to faster schedule but we cannot undermine GT. Inspite of so many halts, it has an aggressive run and has just 2-3 hrs difference in run time compared to TN. I have seen people taking GT one way and then returning in TN or vice versa.
Both are best in terms of their serving ..
I can prefer both of them on Mas Rajdhani, Garib rath and Mas duronto from chennai due to their good and convenient timings at chennai as well as ndls..
From ndls side .. anyone can be considered .
