When the new terminal at BYPL will become operational, LTT-CBE is proposed to be diverted to that terminal which means it will no longer be going to Bangalore East, Cantonment or Bangalore City. Easily 1.5 hrs can be saved towards LTT & maybe more ( at least 2 hrs) towards CBE provided SR (Salem division ) is willing to receive train at CBE much earlier. Lets see if the shift in terminal is implemented for this train or not. As regards your point of CRLM, YPR-CAN is another train which has huge crowds boarding from CRLM. In fact YPR-KCVl Garib Rath was also requested for stop at CRLM howver it was turned down by SWR.
