The train was on time enough. I traveled from Panvel to Ratnagiri on December 20, 2021 in the Sleeper Class. Punctuality was good. It left Panvel a little late (about 15 minutes), but arrived in Ratnagiri early (about five minutes). The pantry car is working and they serve biryani, tea, and other stuff regularly. The food quality is decent. However, cleanliness is a big problem on this train. All the toilets were clogged with shit, and the floors were wet and dirty. Almost none of them had a working flush. If you're on time (10am for AC, 11am for non AC), there's a very good chance of getting last-minute tickets. Most of the journey in the Konkan happens during the day, so that's a plus for train enthusiasts. Overall, it's an okay train to travel on, but there are better options available if you're looking to travel to the Konkan from Delhi, Kota, or Gujarat.
