adityaudaykamat 19 blog postsTravelled in this train in AC 3 Tier, from Surat to Ratnagiri on December 6, 2021. Ticket was booked in Tatkal, which were easily available, as this train has a large tatkal quota (above 100, if I'm not wrong, even for AC 3 Tier). Bought Egg Biryani after boarding at Surat, which was decent. Cleanliness was good enough, and a highly satisfactory punctuality. Slightly inconvenient for Delhi commuters perhaps due to its early departure from Nizamuddin (5am, if I'm not wrong), but a satisfying journey is likely with this train.

Very well said. This is an excellent train for Konkan, Coastal Karnataka and north Kerala with convenient timings and good punctuality. The downside is not having a pantry car, you have to depend on station food, which is BTW very good, especially in Goa.
