Travelled in the 2AC of this train. Coaches are old but well furbished. Only 1 socket was available per cabin of 6 people. This train runs with current availability in the month of November and December, not sure about other months. This train has pantry coach and as per the co-passengers travelling towards Gujarat, the food is of decent quality. And Chicken Chilli too was available on demand as per the pantry staff. In the morning, the breakfast was available, the upma was a bit too sweet. The cutlet was okayish but a bit too salty.

halts are very less in Konkan section, hence it is great train for those going from coastal Karnataka to Maharashtra. In non-season, any waitlist in the intermediate stations has higher chances of confirmation, you can even try your luck with current availability in this train.
