There is an upper class waiting room at Cuttack end (near FOB) on platform 1. The room is maintained good and is clean. Has numerous single seater sofa chairs (whose cushions have been probably worn out & hardened with regular usage). But gets too crowded in evening time after 7 PM. Free entry 3 hrs before departure of train for ticket holders of AC class. There are washrooms just beside the waiting room where you have to just show the upper class ticket to access it. The washrooms were clean & usable unlike the non ac waiting room on same platform. There are too less no. of charging ports in the room though. But, this was the only clean place to sit comfortably in the entire station. Non Ac waiting hall is just unusable. If you are a non ac ticket holder, then best place to sit is the...
