The official system for Rail Enquiries at any Railway Station is called NTES. This system is the first one which gets the train running movement from various Control Boards located at Divisional Headquarters and further it is passed to internet which results in a delay (in its publication on net) about 2 minutes. The site (shown in attachment) captures this data faster than the official railway site. One more advantage of this site is that it loads faster than anything and can show the running status records dating back to 2 or 3 months (unbelievable but true)

Yes sir its www.railenquiry.in which opens blazing fast in mobile version.. Offers a useful set of functions.. in the running status page just tweak the date in URL to get running status for past 2 to 3 months (to the best of my knowledge)
