If you are travelling from JU - and looking to get good food packed - there is a Janta Sweets around 300mtrs from the main PF#1 gate.Janta sweets is a known restuarnt chain in JOdhpur, and you could get quick thali packed. There is a small one ( 2 desi ghee parathas,rice, dal , sabji and raita ) for Rs 170, and a larger one for 260( all of the above + 1 additional paratha +paneer sabji, papad and sweets) - they are packed hygienically and easy to eat in the train off the packed thali itself. Way better than the food available at the station or just outside it.
correct, Janta sweet home is excellent. Not only thalis, if you intent to munch on snacks like mirchi bada, samosa, kachori and sweets like jalebi , this is the best option available near station.
I liked their kachori and mirch pakoda variants more and there is no other outlet in its comparison which is that much nearer to station
