this train ever made , I travelled upto Kopargaon (2012). For Shirdi. After Yelehanka, post route is completely Diesel and I think it was hauled by Itarsi WDM-3A twins from Bengaluru City upto Itarsi. Later upto Manmad, then daund and finally End to end Electric loco with LHB rakes. Still I remember old lovely times lf Childhood.

From red to blue to yellow and again back to red. What a journey it's been for trains in IR.
In my opinion the blue livery was the most iconic for non premium category trains. IR should have continued blue livery for non premium LHB trains too and red for premium trains.

Same experience was mine too, from childhood we used to travel between Kopargaon to Daund
During Diesel days there were ET based twins locos, then there were from Guntakal based twins Alco, sometimes we used to travel from Daund to Itarsi too by this train.
And yes, it's my favorite too😍❤️

during old days pf 2 was fixed for karnataka eap at Ahmednagar, after extension of pf 1 it was given pf 1, only train on this route with twin diesel during 90s
