Useful Great Great Great
A short video of my journey in 07344 Kulem Vasco Da Gama passenger led by Pune WDG4D on 14th August 2024 convering the track doubling progress between Cansaulim and Sankval railway stations in Goa.
Unfortunately couldn't capture Sankval to Vasco Da Gama doubling works as my train waited for a long time for crossing 12741 at Sankval and departed only at 7.25 pm and it was dark outside by then.

Fantastic video, from the landscapes to the seashores. Goa can never not be beautiful.

Why are they running a DEMU special with ICF coaches. And the track doubling near Sankval, will they continue over the sea/beach or change the alignments, because I don't see much space on the other side.

Useful
DEMU rakes were spotted by me at one place in UBL YPR section can't remember the exact place. But seat comfort was pretty bad in the DEMU rakes allotted to the train.
Regarding Sankval on the other end there is a freight siding of Zuari Industries with three tracks and there is space beyond that. Also there are already two tracks at Sankval one platform line and one mainline and if you see in the video they made my halting train halt on mainline and the non halting 12741 crossed from the platform line. So may be with yard remodeling of Sankval on the freight sliding side they may construct a second platform and use both platform lines as mainlines for

UP and DOWN and extend the freight sliding beyond as space is available on that end.
(This is just my opinion based on my knowledge of the area I maybe totally wrong and SWR maybe having a different plan).

The difficult part is track doubling works after Sankval towards Dabolim.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
