Ranchi has huge space for growth given railways is now connected to it from multiple directions. Most importantly no freight to act as disturbance. Earlier Muri was it's sole face. KSX-PRR doubling will also add to it's connectivity in future.
TATA truly needs to create a lot of room to first curate Freights in order to grow in passenger segment. It completely lacks proper connectivity to Badampahar and Chaibasa side. You already know the practical difference between Grand Chord and Howrah Mumbai Mainline. Dedicated Freight Tracks are required in HM Mainline and BNR. It's high time Board sanctions them.

more... will be getting good amount of MEMU trains after Anara Carshed is commissioned. At least that's what SER has said. BKSC lobby is being enhanced to handle the same. BKSN-TLE section can now accomodate multiple trains to Adra. BJE yard remodeling and BJE-TLE doubling is also going on for smoother traffic flow.
This ROU-HWH VB is probably going to be SRC maintained HWH morning departure one. So won't act as an alternative to 20898/97. Ranchi division has already sent proposal to divert it via ANR-ASN. Most likely will be enacted post KSX-PRR doubling and yard remodeling at ANR, RKI, BERO and CHRA are over, which will create additional space and freedom to choose slots.
