At Egmore it arrives on PF#4 and takes the line of the express trains and its mps is 80 as compared to the other EMUs 60 kph!
It is quite crowded (FC also has standees)!
Travelled on this EMU today.
The ADI TPJ special(2.5hrs late) was made to stand at MSB and this EMU got precedence!

It follows the MS PDY Express from MS!
At Egmore, it arrives on Platform #4 and takes the track of the express trains, and its maximum speed is 80 kph compared to the other EMUs which is 60 kph!
It is quite crowded (the first class also has standees)!
I traveled on this EMU today.
The ADI TPJ special (2.5 hours late) had to wait at MSB and this EMU was given precedence!
