Why did the ER slow down the Legendary 12344 Dn Darjeeling Mail and 12378 Dn Padatik SF Express? For about 5 to 10 minutes. They should continue Padatik SF at its old schedule. For NJP 20:45 arrival and 21:00 departure and SDAH 6:45, they can easily speed up this train by 25-30 minutes. The same goes for the Legendary Darjeeling Mail, NJP - 19:10 arrival and 19:30 departure and SDAH 5:00 AM.

Actually it had taken the track with a storm.
BT at both Mldt and Bhp then arrived bwn at 02-59 and in next trip it was 03-07

Always Darjeeling Mail arrived in Bwn between 3:00 to 3:10 AM, but after that it should get more priority so that it can arrive in Sealdah at 5:00 AM. And at Gour Malda, it always arrives 25-30 minutes earlier, so Malda Town can be 11:00 to 11:10 AM. Then, this train will take 9:15 minutes between NJP to SDAH.
Padatik can be speeded up by atleast 50 mins or an hour

Agreed, DM and Padatik can both be speed up by 30-40 minutes. They are both popular trains and the first choice for all travelers on the NJP to SDAH route.
Yes, saraighat already gets filled upto nbq but padatik and darjeeling mail fills up at njp
