Seems to be 17021/22 is up for Permanent Cancellation.
Train No-17021/22 ; 17039/40 ; 17419/20 are under suspension from Jan 9th
Frequency of 17039/40 might be increased to tri-weekly or 4 day weekly and can see a good speed up after the Link are discontinued.

17022 train not cancelled but the arrival time has been preponed. Now it will arrive Hyderabad at 4.45 AM instead of 7.20 AM. And also 17040 express time has also been changed to 4.00 AM instead of 6.20 AM

YPR-VSG booking is not suspended as of now, so it doesn't seem to be due to work related. I think they are introducing special trains for khumb mela, so they've cancelled SC/HYD-VSG train & use those rakes in khumb mela routes.

Trains which do not have PM at Vasco have been short terminated at UBL.Also trains with Madgaon as reversal have been diverted.Rest is normal and will be controlled accordingly

Partial Cancellation and Diversion Of Trains Mentioned in Circular

So you see trains having run in Braganza Ghat section during above mentioned time slot are short terminated at UBL or diverted. Trains out of that slot will be running as usual i.e. Goa express and VSG YPR express. Even VSG JSME is not suspended even though in return direction it travels in above time slot.
