Aadit2200~ 93 blog postsHWH - GAYA VB is doing better than expected. It is half full at worst & getting 70-80 % occupancy on an average. All stops even Koderma, Parasnath giving 100+ boardings.
It must get extension to BSB, non stop from GAYA. Heavy E2E traffic potential + seat multiflexing at intermediate stations will make it superhit. 20 car rake will be required then. Towards BSB, RL quota should start from PNME to save RNC-BSB VB. In reverse, Pooled quota till PNME similarly.

Somedays Gaya one rake departs next day as NJP one and NJP one as Gaya maybe due to late running or late maintenance hence RSA given.
Yes, but not a mandatory setup. Anyways it was doing well with one rake when there was no GAYA VB.
During the first charting, there were 0 seats left for the Sunday run in the down direction. In the up direction, only 100 seats were available from HWH in the current reservation, which is impressive, given that it is a 16-car rake.
The fastest train HWH Rajdhani takes 10+ hrs. Even with a very aggressive TT, it'll still take 9.5 + hrs, the VB from ALD. It is theoretically possible but in practise will mean departure times of 0500 hrs in one direction and arrival at midnight, hardly prudent.
