New Name board is installed in Maynapur Railway station. Also, Boro Gopinathpur station construction is going on full swing.
Also there is a news that 4 Pairs of MEMUs will be allocated to run between Bishnupur jn and Boro Gopinathpur station after the CRS clearance. These MEMUs will be linked with Bankura and Adra.

4 Pairs are distant dreams. Neither Nimpura upgrade nor Anara is commissioned yet to assert new a MEMU rake. Max. a morning pair can be introduced somehow extracting from existing MEMU RSAs.
Maynapur - Borogopinathpur extension will be ready by month end for CRS.

Yes. 20-25 buses ply between Bankura & Tarkeswar/Chinsurah alone starting from as early as 4-30 am and all are running jam packed.
Bhabadighi problem cloud is looming large on completion of this project but only in near term. But in distant future I hold breath of hope in my heart.
Line will be an game changer of Bankura-Hoogly district.
