What do you think guys! About the Darjeeling Mail running from Siliguri/NJP again? Should it run from NJP/SGUJ again or not? Tickets are filling faster than usual, and the Tatkal quota is much higher. People booking 2-3 months in advance are still getting RAC/WL. The train's rake is poorly maintained such a pathetic service by HDB also cockroaches and bugs are seen in the old sleeper coaches. Also, it only stops at NJP for 10-12 minutes, this not sufficient.

Politics ছাড়া আর কিছুই না দাদা এগুলো, না হলে দার্জিলিং মেল এর মত ঐতিহ্যবাহী ট্রেনকে শিলিগুড়ি বা দার্জিলিং থেকে নিয়ে গিয়ে হলদিবাড়ির মতো এমন একটি স্টেশনে দেয় যেখানে ট্রেনটি না পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্নভাবে রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করা হয় আর না ট্রেনটির কোন গুরুত্ব আছে আগের মত। হলদিবাড়ির সাথে দার্জিলিং এর কোনো সম্পর্কই নেই, ৬-৭ বছর আগে আমাদের হাত থেকে হাতছাড়া হয়েছে এই পদাতিক এক্সপ্রেস, তারপর দার্জিলিং মেল, এখন শুধুমাত্র বন্দে ভারত আর শতাব্দী এক্সপ্রেসই বেঁচে আছে আমার মতে এগুলো কেও হলদিবাড়ি স্টেশন থেকেই চালানো উচিত তাতে যদি হলদিবাড়ির লোকেদের সুবিধা হয় তাহলে আরো ভালো হবে, হলদিবাড়ি এমন একটা জায়গা যেখান থেকে দার্জিলিং মেলের জেনারেল বগি গুলো ও ফাঁকা আসে, আর কথা হল AC এর আজ পর্যন্ত দেখিনি দার্জিলিং মেলে এসিতে হলদিবাড়ি থেকে কেউ আসছে।

No dada, in case of Uttarbanga Express I think it was right decision to extend it to Bamanhat...

First of all the stretch New Coochbehar to Bamanhat goes through the rural area of Coochbehar district... Townships like Dinhata, Gitaldaha, Bamanhat are made in this route which are connected to small villages.... So many people of rural Coochbehar can easily afford this train and travel to Kolkata... As a resident of Dinhata, I can say that many people of highly prefer only this train to go Kolkata & you can also see

that the occupancy of this train is almost always full from BXT, DHT, NCB....

Secondly you are saying that people of New Coochbehar struggling to get tickets in it.... You see that there are so many trains pass through New Coochbehar & go to Kolkata eg. Teesta Torsa, Padatik, Kamrup, Saraighat etc... Where Coochbehar's own train means only Uttarbanga Exp.

I'm not any political leader or something, I just put forward the true behind it's extesion...
